Many up-and-coming producers and artists tell me they want to become the next Pi’erre Bourne or Gucci Mane. While I would never claim full credit for their success, both have publicly credited me with giving them crucial guidance early in their journeys.
With 20+ years of experience in the music business — from mixtapes and tour DJ’ing, to marketing at Dallas Austin’s Rowdy Records, to producing for A$AP Rocky, Don Toliver, Lil Durk, Nicki Minaj and more — I’ve seen every side of this industry. I’ve served as A&R for Bubba Sparxxx’s New South label, mixed for David Banner, Trouble, Fana Hues, and created sound design for the 1917 and Justice League movie trailers.
I’m also a Gold-selling producer on Don Toliver’s LoveSickness, and for the last three years I’ve been a Professor at Georgia State University, teaching students how to elevate their sound, their branding and their careers.
All of that experience is the foundation of Next Ones, a 1-year mentorship program I created to help the next generation sharpen their skills and develop a strategy tailored to their individual goals.
Next Ones includes:
A personalized, step-by-step game plan for your career
Monthly consultations for 1 year (in-person, Zoom, or phone)
Production + artist development guidance
Networking, branding, and marketing strategy
Access to my personal drum catalog
Real industry insight shaped by 20+ years of experience
